Definition:
The workload version of FTE relates to the Health Canada FTE methodology, but calculates the average number of visits for those physicians whose full time equivalence=1 (earnings are between the 40th and 60th percentile). The FTE for one particular physician is the total number of visits in his/her practice divided by the average number of visits (calculated above).
