Definition:

A general category within Hospital Types that identifies hospitals located in northern, isolated regions of the province. These hospitals include: Snow Lake Medical Nursing Unit, Gillam Hospital Inc., Lynn Lake Hospital, Leaf Rapids Health Centre, and Norway House Hospital.
