Definition:
The total number of "days supplied" as recorded on the prescription records in the DPIN database. This measure indicates the intended number of days of therapy represented by a given prescription. It can be used to calculate the prescribed daily dosage for patients receiving treatment, which may be different from the standardized Defined Daily Dose (DDD).
