Definition:

Certain treatment factors that were available in the hospital file were thought to potentially influence length of stay. These included rehabilitation care, ventilatory support, dialysis, and PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) tube insertion. The Working Group thought that oxygen therapy would have an impact on length of stay, but this information was unavailable in our data.
