Term: Receipt of Protective or Support Services
Glossary Definition
Last Updated: 2007-12-12
Definition:
Any child or family receiving protective or support services from Child and Family Services. Although support services are supposed to be voluntary, and protective services mandatory, this distinction is often blurred in the Child and Family Services Information System, so these two types of services are combined for analyses.
