Definition:
Spaces in a licensed centre or home for child supervision at 0-12 years of age. The license ensures that the child care centres and homes meet the government standards on several subject matters (e.g., staff qualifications, behaviour management policies, daily activities, sanitization, lighting, heating, and compliance with the Manitoba Fire Code) ( Manitoba Laws, 2007 ).
