Definition:
An unweighted analysis based on the average of centre-specific estimates of test groups in the presence of an interaction (influence) effect between the independent (explanatory) variables. Type III analyses are often used when the effect of one explanatory variable is influenced by the effect of another explanatory variable. (Dmitrienko A et al., 2005).
