Definition:

Previously known as the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF), this non-profit organization was renamed the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) in November 2012. The mission of the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI), as stated on their About Us web page - ( http://www.cfhi-fcass.ca/AboutUs.aspx - accessed November 6, 2012), " ... is dedicated to accelerating healthcare improvement and transformation for Canadians. We collaborate with governments, policy-makers, and health system leaders to convert evidence and innovative practices into actionable policies, programs, tools and leadership development."
