Definition:
The Canadian Urban Environmental (CANUE) datasets are a collection of data from the Canadian Urban Environmental (CANUE) Health Research Consortium. This data contains measures related to the environment and neighborhood / urban living.
The data is broadly categorized as:

AIR QUALITY
- includes measures of ground level ozone, fine particulates, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide;

GREENNESS
- includes several different measures using normalized difference vegetation indices (NDVI);

WEATHER AND CLIMATE
- includes measures for local climate zones, water balance metrics, and weather indicators; and

NEIGHBORHOOD
- includes measures of material and social deprivation, access to employment, nighttime light, active living environments, and the Canadian Marginalization Index.
All data is available at the individual Canadian postal code level that allows for geographical analysis.
