Last Updated: 2006-02-15

Definition:

The percentage of residents aged 25 or older who had at least one physician visit for hypertension in a three-year period. It is expressed as a percentage because each resident is defined either as having been treated for high blood pressure, or not, in that period. Values are adjusted to reflect the population of Manitoba age 25+ (males and females combined).
