A set of Hospitalization Indicators for describing rates associated with different types of infectious diseases, including: pneumonia, influenza, hepatitis, tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), pelvic inflammatory disease, and HIV/AIDS. There are specific ICD-9-CM diagnosis codes for each of these infectious diseases.
