Definition:
The location of an ambulatory physician visit or hospitalization is based on the location of the physician or hospital. Several different methods of categorization have been used in MCHP research over the years, including:

In Region, Out of Region: Not Winnipeg, and Out of Region: Winnipeg;
-
In-province versus Out of province; and
-
Within the RHA of Residence, Outside the RHA (not in Winnipeg), in Winnipeg RHA, and Out of province.
