Definition:

A program of the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch, Health Canada. This program provides a range of benefits not included in provincially and territorially administered insurance programs, to First Nations and Inuit individuals in the categories of drugs, dental services, vision care, medical supplies and equipment, mental health services, medical transportation, and payment of non-insured benefits outside of Canada.
