Last Updated: 2007-09-26

Identifies hospitals that use service codes to identify the number of cases and days designated non-acute, compared to the number of long term Revenues days (chronic care, respite and panelled days) reported to Manitoba Health. If the ratio of the non-acute service code days to long term Revenue days was less than 0.7, the decision was made to classify the hospital as a "poor coding" hospital.
