Definition:

Aggregated Diagnosis Groups (ADGs) of the Johns Hopkins Adjusted Clinical Group® (ACG®) system were used to count the number of conditions and to define conditions as major or minor on the basis of resource use and clinical outcomes. Major ADGs (MADG) included the following: ADG3, ADG4, ADG9, ADG11, ADG16, ADG22, ADG25, ADG32.
