Definition:

A list of proven high quality therapeutically effective drugs approved by the Pharmacare drug benefit program. It also includes a list of interchangeable drugs. It is compiled with the advice of the Manitoba Drug Standards and Therapeutics Committee, assisted by Manitoba Health staff and outside consultants. The Minister of Health gives the final approval for benefits under the Pharmacare drug benefit program.
