Definition:
There are many different methods of physician payment / remuneration, including: fee-for-service, salaried where evaluation claims are available, salary and sessional anaesthetist, emergency room, and intensive care unit physician payments. Excluded from analysis are other salaried and sessional physicians for whom there were no evaluation claims (7% of total physician remuneration).
