Definition:

A provincial government department responsible for healthy living initiatives in Manitoba. "Healthy Living is about creating conditions and supporting behaviours that promote the best possible health choices for everyone. It is a shared responsibility and everyone has a role to play". (from the Manitoba Healthy Living web site - accessed May 26, 2008).

In November 2009, the Manitoba government shuffled cabinet and Healthy Living became part of a new department called Healthy Living, Youth and Seniors.
