Definition:

A database of administrative health information from the WRHA Manitoba Cataract Surgery Waiting List Program. This program monitors patients waiting to undergo cataract removal procedures and includes all cataract surgery procedures performed at three sites in Winnipeg (90% of cataract surgeries performed in Manitoba). The database contains priority scores assigned to each patient based on their level of visual functioning and length of wait time, from information collected via a questionnaire. Surgical wait times, patient demographics, and clinical and/or functional information are contained in this database.
