Definition:
Distress or conflict between parenting partners (e.g., separations, frequent arguments). This is an item on the Families First Screening Form assessed by public health nurses. As an indicator, this measures the percentage of women with newborns who reported experiencing "relationship distress" with their spouse or partner.
