Definition:

The Manitoba Colon Screening Program is managed by CancerCare Manitoba. The goal of this program is to detect colon cancer early and reduce the number of Manitobans who die from the disease. This program is known as ColonCheck.

Current guidelines are that men and women between the ages of 50-74 years be screened for colon cancer every two years.
