Glossary Definition

Last Updated: 2007-09-26

Definition:

Patients are assigned to the practice where they receive the majority (50% or higher) of their care. This method is identical to the Plurality Approach only for patients who receive more than half their care at any one practice. Patients who obtain less than 50% of their care in any one clinic are left unassigned by the MSOC approach.
