Definition:

The Mood Balance scale (also called the Bradburn Affect Balance Scale, developed by Norman Bradburn) is designed to indicate the psychological reactions (positive and negative) of people in the general population to events in their daily lives. This scale is considered an indicator of happiness or of general well-being, by measuring an individual's ability to cope with the stresses of everyday living. This scale is not considered a measure of psychiatric or psychological disorders.
