Definition:

Indicators that define if a healthcare facility has proper standards in place to facilitate the appropriate delivery of healthcare. Examples of structural QIs include having staff with appropriate training and credentials, ensuring that facility space and equipment meet predetermined standards, and having appropriate policies and procedures in place so that staff can provide appropriate and consistent standards of healthcare.
