Term: Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD) Mortality

This is an indicator measuring the crude and adjusted mortality rates for residents age 19 and older with and without IHD. Individuals were categorized as with or without IHD in a five-fiscal-year period and their mortality rate was calculated in the subsequent five year period. The denominator is the Manitoba population age 19 and older, who had at least five years of prior coverage and were registered with Manitoba Health for at least five years of subsequent coverage or until death.
