Definition:
The term "Inactive Repository Data" refers to data that is rarely used and either has not been updated since initial acquisition, or may not be updated on a regular basis. These databases were originally acquired and placed in the
Manitoba Population Research Data Repository (Repository)
for research use. However, over time they were either replaced with newer databases that included the original data as a subset, were not updated on a regular basis, or were not used as extensively as first thought they would be and remain as project data.
The data is available for research, but there are specific conditions for its use. For more information about these conditions, please read the
Manitoba Population Research Data Repository Data Inclusion and Guidelines
document available on our web site.
This data has also been referred to as
"Extended Repository Data", "Archived Data", "Project Data"
and
"Historic Data"
in MCHP documentation.
