Definition:

In The Mental Health of Manitoba's Children deliverable by Chartier et al. (2016), they investigated health services use (physician visits, psychiatry visits, hospitalizations - all causes, and Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre (MATC) services) before and after a suicide attempt, among adolescent males and females. They compared the average of each health service use in the four-year period before the suicide attempt to the four-year period after the attempt.
