Definition:

Aggregated Diagnosis Groups (ADGs) of the Johns Hopkins Adjusted Clinical Group® (ACG®) case-mix system were used to classify comorbidity. Low comorbidity were persons with 0-1 major ADGs, medium comorbidity were persons with 2-3 major ADGs and high comorbidity included persons with four or more ADGs.
