Term: Relative Case Weights (RCW)

Definition:

Standardized weights that represent the expected relative cost of treating the average case in a RDRG®. The relativity is established by indexing the average case cost of each RDRG® against the average case cost for all RDRGs®, which is assigned a value of 1.00.
