Definition:

Winnipeg Most Healthy is an aggregate geography area of Winnipeg Neighbourhood Clusters that have a premature mortality rate statistically lower than the premature mortality rate of a larger area measured over 10 years. This aggregate geographical area was co-developed by MCHP and The Need To Know Team for use in MCHP research. The areas may change from project to project, based on the data used.

In the What Works? (2008) deliverable, the area of comparison was Manitoba over calendar years 1991-2000 and the Winnipeg Neighbourhood Clusters included: Assiniboine South, Fort Garry South, Fort Garry North, Inkster West, River East North, River East East, River East West, River Heights West, St. Boniface East, St. James-Assiniboia West and St. Vital South.

In the Profile of Metis Health Status and Healthcare Utilization in Manitoba (2010) and Adult Obesity in Manitoba: Prevalence, Associations, and Outcomes (2011) deliverables, the area of comparison was Winnipeg over calendar years 1996-2005 and the Winnipeg Neighbourhood Clusters included: Assiniboine South, Fort Garry North, Fort Garry South, Inkster West, River East North, River East East, River East West, River Heights West, St. Boniface East, St. James-Assiniboia West, and St. Vital South.
