Definition:

A scale produced by the RAI-HC© system to measure the amount of difficulty home care clients have when performing three IADL tasks - meal preparation, ordinary housework and telephone use. This scale ranges from 0 (no difficulties in any three tasks) to 6 (great difficulty in all three tasks). A score of 4 defines people with great difficulty completing only one of these IADL tasks.
