This data is collected in the federal government's Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Permanent Resident information system. The data includes demographic information (e.g.: sex, birthdate, marital status, education level, and occupation) and immigration-related information (e.g.: landing date, immigration admission category and intended destination).
