This indicator measures the crude and adjusted mortality rate for residents age 19 and older with and without TRM. Individuals were categorized as with or without TRM in a fiscal year and their mortality rate was calculated in the subsequent five year period. The denominator is the Manitoba population age 19 and older, who had at least one year of coverage prior to the fiscal year, and were registered with Manitoba Health until five years after the fiscal year or death.
