Glossary Definition
Last Updated: 2013-10-30
Definition:
RHA Zones are subdivisions of Regional Health Authorities (RHA) defined primarily based on municipal code and some postal codes for analysis purposes. After the amalgamation of the RHAs into five health regions in 2012, zones were created collaboratively by individual RHAs, Manitoba Centre for Health Policy (MCHP), and Manitoba Health. Overall, there are 16 zones in Manitoba that encompass 70 districts.
