Definition:
The birth of a baby from a breech presentation through the vagina. A vaginal breech birth was defined by the presence of one or more codes in the hospital discharge abstract for a Breech Birth and the absence of a code in the hospital discharge abstract indicating a caesarean birth, or the birth being coded as a breech birth in the Midwifery Discharge Summary Reports. All home births were coded as vaginal births. See Breech Presentation for more information.
