Definition:

A group of individuals who cannot be assigned a neighbourhood income from census data, and are therefore excluded from all neighbourhood income quintile analyses. Individuals included in the "Income Unknown" group include:

NOTE: For the census, Statistics Canada suppresses average household income values for dissemination areas (DA) with populations less than 250 persons: these are grouped into income unknown for analyses using the census.
