The Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit (ICU) data contains episode information for critically ill individuals admitted to any of the adult ICUs in six Winnipeg hospitals. The types of ICUs include:

Data collected for each episode of care includes: patient demographics; diagnoses, complications and comorbidities; acuity scores; lab test results; and therapeutic interventions.

NOTE: In MCHP research, the Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit (ICU) data has also been referred to as the Winnipeg ICU Database (WICUDB).
