Enrollment Standards Tests Reading Recovery

The education indicators found in this report provide a rich source of descriptive, population-based information on child educational outcomes (retention, mobility, high school completion, performance on standards tests, and involvement in Reading Recovery). This information could be used by policy makers to evaluate educational status at sub-regional, regional and provincial levels, and identify areas where new policy efforts are necessary. The graphs shown in this section, as with other sections of the report, are ordered by socioeconomic status, going from the highest socioeconomic status at the top of the graph, to the lowest, at the bottom.

Enrollment
This section of the report describes educational outcomes based on student enrolment data and includes information on retention, number of school changes children experience, and high school completion within five years of enrolment in Senior 1 (Grade 9).
